A woman can be heard yelling “he’s killed her” in the shocking footage, with a car seen driving from the car park at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent
Haunting video footage has captured the moment gunshots rang out over Kent as a woman was killed in a Valentine’s Day shooting.

Lisa Smith has been named by police as the woman who died on February 14 in the car park of the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent, in an incident locals say has rocked the community. People have come out to the site to lay tributes to the 43-year-old from Slough, Berkshire, who was named locally as Lisa Stockings. She died on the scene, and investigators are now combing the Thames in search of a man “known to the victim” who has also been named locally as her husband, Edvard Stockings.

He is said to have fallen from the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, with the search having gone underway after investigators recovered a car and firearm from nearby the Dartford Crossing, with new footage providing more insight into the incident. People watching the new video can hear three blasts echo through the area outside the Three Horseshoes Pub, followed by a fourth.

A vehicle can then be seen leaving the car park at the Kent pub, followed by the horrified screams of a woman who yells: “He’s killed her.” Police are still in the early stages of an investigation into the incident, saying officers are currently focusing their efforts on recovering the suspected perpetrator, named locally as from the water.

A spokesperson said: “Police are continuing to search areas of the River Thames after a suspect linked to a murder in Knockholt is believed to have fallen from the Queen Elizabeth II bridge. Kent Police was called at 7.02pm on Friday 14 February 2025 to Main Road, Knockholt where a woman in her 40s had suffered gunshot wounds. She died at the scene.

“Whilst the victim has not yet been formally identified, she has been named as Lisa Smith, aged 43, and who was from Slough. A car and firearm linked to the suspect were later recovered next to the Dartford Crossing. The suspect, a man known to the victim, is reported to have been seen on the wrong side of a bridge barrier and officers are focusing efforts on searches to recover him from the water.”

Flowers and balloons, with a number of notes addressed to “Lisa” have been placed on a small patch of grass next to Knockholt pub, near Sevenoaks, Kent. One touching card said: “Our love and prayers are with your family, especially your boys and granddaughter. May they continue to frown knowing the love you always showed them.”

Two women who said they were relatives went to the scene to pay tribute and described Lisa as a “great woman”. One said: “She was a wonderful mum, a beautiful woman – they’d just had a granddaughter, they had everything going for them. I just can’t understand what happened, they were so happy.

“We know them from Lingfield, we’re family, my son grew up with theirs.” They said Lisa had two children aged 21 and 10. They said: “How do you explain to a 10-year-old what’s happened?” Another said: “She was a great, great woman, I just can’t believe it.”
